Refund policy

At Wood Fire Mercantile, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to make a return, please review our policy below.

Workhorse Pits, Primitive Pits, and El Bandido Purchases:

All sales of cookers (Workhorse Pits, Primitive Pits/"Babe", El Bandido) are final sale. However, if you have an issue with our product once it is delivered to you, we are here to help and will do everything within reason to make sure your new cooker is to your satisfaction. Every unit must pass a thorough quality control inspection before leaving our shop. If you have an issue with your order, please do not hesitate to contact us. Note: This applies to online as well as in-store purchases. 

Online Smoker Orders:

As soon as you place an order online, our team immediately prepares for final production and delivery.  Therefore, once you place your order and payment has been processed, we do not offer cancellations or refunds. Any changes made to your order could delay production and delivery. 

Wood Fire Mercantile Product Purchases:

We accept returns within 30 days from the date of purchase on unopened, unused, and “re-sellable” products with a copy of a valid receipt or proof of purchase. Items that are opened, used, or damaged cannot be returned. Refunds will be issued back to the original method of payment.

If you wish to return an item that was gifted to you without a receipt, we will offer an in-store credit for unopened, unused and “re-sellable” products, as long as it is a current product sold in the store.

Please contact us if an item you purchased is damaged or defective upon opening. We can provide instructions for returning the product to the manufacturer for a refund. 

Exceptions:

Please note the following items that cannot be returned or refunded:

·      Items that have been opened, used, installed, or assembled.

·      Clearance products or items marked “final sale.”

·      Custom-made, special-order, and made-to-order items.

·      Products explicitly labeled “non-returnable” within their descriptions.

·      Any items sought for return beyond the 30-day window.
