The Director is El Bandido’s proprietary direct-over-coals cooker, developed around precise control of heat, grate distance, color development, texture, and finishing speed. It combines the responsiveness of cooking directly over a live coal bed with a stable, repeatable cooking environment.
The freestanding cooker rides on heavy-duty casters and is finished in a high-temperature clear coat that leaves the character of the steel visible.
